The underlying message is obvious but very powerful - we cannot control events that happen to us, but we can control how we feel and react to them. We can choose to be positive (even when others around us don't make the same choice!). This doesn't mean we live in some 'happy clappy land'. It just means we are in a much more positive and resourceful position to cope with what life throws at us. 3) There are a series of questions at the end of the book that will cause the reader to think about their current habits and re-adjust in light of the positive messages they've just read. Every teenager in the land needs a copy!

Andy Cope is Derby born and bred and is an avid follower of Derby County Football Club. His real passion lies in 'Positive Psychology' which is, basically, the science of happiness and well-being.
