Review:
In the beginning there is excitement as the mysterious night prowler called The Hat tackles two corrupt police detectives in New Orleans. This comic book has made for movie written all over it. It's just a matter of time before some Hollywood producer will discover this comic book. The character is absolutely cool and fascinating to look at. You will love Laszlo! Laszlo, aka The Hat, aka The Victorian, is working undercover as a cabbie and a courier for the local mob. Things get very intriguing and intense! Laszlo gathers a posse and they must understand the philosophy of the secret society that ran the the college of the Order of the Blue Rose to fully understand their assignment...their mission at hand! There are thrills every minute with this graphic novel and you get an added bonus! Glen Orbik - Behind the Scenes! Glen Orbik is the undisputed master of powerful painted images. Yoy get to see his incredible seven painted covers. They are: The Victorian, Claude Ballare, Lily White, Levitcus Doc Shumpert, Winston Fitz Fitzrandolph, Eudora Kincaid and a Puzzle Collage. Exceptional imagery, but you get superb artwork throughout this whole comic book novel! Trainor Houghton and Len Wein always leavens the mayhem with drama. The Victorian is arguably the most gripping, surprising, and satisfying thriller in many decades! This is some kind of outstanding! --Paul Dale Roberts, President - Jazma Online!
