Synopsis

It took four years of self study and research, each week night and every weekend, to create this book. My intitial motivation was to produce something that I could present to my three son's that would attempt to try and answer some of their increasingly dificult questions about God and religion. Though I am not a formal scholar it seems that , from the many, many positive responses that I am receiving, the majority of people who have read the book are relating to the results of this task. During the last several months, I have been truly surprised at the varied , creative and wonderfully positive reactions that this book has engendered. It seems that there is a real, unexpectedly strong undercurrent of desire, within interested individuals of all walks of life, that are looking for a relatable direction and / or understanding of GOD and Religion: to be found within the context of a single understandable volume. One that is produced by an "average" Jewish person and directed towards an "average" interesed person; Jewish or Non. I have sent this book to many people and, though the book is written from a Jewish perspective, the majority of these people, Jewish and Non have responded with sincere, encouraging and important feedback . As a result of its publication, over the last months, I have been invited to be on the distinguished interview radio show "Milt Rosenberg Ext 720 Radio Show" on WGN Radio of Chicago regarding a panel discussion on Judaism, the book has been accepted into several libraries of the University of Texas Library System, it has been written up in the May edition of the Jewish United Fund News Magazine,the Pioneer Press of Illinois, it is suggested reading of the Etz Chaim Org of Austin Texas former executive director. etc etc. After reading this book, it would be my pleasure to discuss any aspects , pro or con, with you.
