"What do LGBTQ Christians bring to the task of biblical interpretation?" My answer: a sense of redemptive purpose as these essays, poems, and remembrances show. My prayer is that this little volume will find its way into the hands of other LGBTQ Christians struggling with the tension between who they are and what too many Christians have told them they should be, that it falls into the hands of LGBTQ Christians' parents, and that it falls into the hands of Church leaders who need to hear that the ones whom they have condemned may become the ones who rescue the relevance of the Bible in Christians' lives, rescue the Church, and perhaps, rescue the God in whose image lesbians, gays, bi-sexual, transgender, genderqueer, and all the other queer people were made. Amen.
