In Marcia Lynn Miller's far-flung adventures she has collected passport stamps from 70 countries while gathering a vast amount of travel knowledge. Coping with medical emergencies, lost passports, cancelled flights, and terror threats, while adjusting to the cultural vagaries of the world, are all in her day's work. With a degree in economics from the University of Puget Sound, she finally found career happiness when she pursued her passion for travel. That has resulted in her being sought out by women travelers, media, and organizations for consultations, advice, and speaking engagements on travel-centric topics. Marcia makes her homes in Portland, Oregon, and on a vineyard property in Zillah, Washington with her husband of 40 years, and their dog and cat.
