I was introduced to Mirabai by an Indian acupuncturist, numerologist, actually mystic, with whom I was doing some healing work. At first meeting I told him about my India background and my experiences with regression therapy. After numerous mumblings of many "Yes, that fits," I impatiently asked, "What fits?" He said, quietly and directly,"You are a reincarnation of Mirabai. Marabai is my saint." In 1988 I decided I would follow Mirabai's life from Rajasthan, where she spent her childhood, to Gujarat, where she spent her final years.
