About the Author
Sigmund Freud (1856-1939) was born in Moravia; between the ages of four and eighty-two his home was Vienna; in 1938 Hitler’s invasion of Austria forced him to seek asylum in London where he died. His life was uneventful, but his ideas have shaped not only many specialist disciplines, but the whole intellectual climate of the twentieth century.

hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good-. Good in Good- dust jackets. Listing is for volumes 1-23; Missing # 24. The dust jackets have sunning, wear and small tears at spines (and a couple of corners). A couple of the jackets have some soiling, but all are in tact. Top edges have been dyed navy blue. Some volumes have bumped corners. The set is in good shape, with only mild toning on the pages. Volume 1, 3, 4, and 22 have limited markings; volume 23 has markings throughout. A couple volumes have soiling on boards; one has bubbling on the rear board (vol 8). Vol 17 has rippling at rear hinge. Vol 22 has a blue ink spot on bottom edge. Nice set overall. hardcover. Condition: Good. All 24 Volumes are included with original dust jackets. All 24 volume's dust jackets have Mylar plastic covers which show some rubbing, scuffing and light shelf wear. Dust jackets of all 24 volumes show some fading and discoloration from age as well as some browning and general shelf wear. Volume 10's dust jacket has been repaired in a couple places by clear tape.
