Teague is an award-winning journalist and currently the associate editor of Unity House near Kansas City, Missouri. He has written for magazines an dcontributed to some of the leading educational anthologies and textbooks. For almost thirty years, Teague was a writer and editor with the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. He has created scripts for video and has spoken extensively about children's books, travel and spiritual issues. Reel Spirit is his first book.

The book has 150 "Main Attractions" in which th eauthor goes into depth about the spiritual nature of the move, as well as special "Feature Presentations" about specific movie and themes. The 400 films in the book span virtually the entire history of the cinema, from the early 1900s to 1999.
