Synopsis

About the Author
Kristyne Loughran is an independent scholar in Florence, Italy, and co-author of Art of Being Tuareg: Sahara Nomads in a Modern World. Cynthia Becker is assistant professor of art history at Boston University. She is the author of Amazigh Arts in Morocco: Women Shaping Berber Identity.

Simon Xavier Guerrand-Hermès is a board member of Hermès International (the fifth generation of his family to be involved with the luxury firm), vice president of Hermès Paris, and the founder and chairman of the Guerrand-Hermès Foundation for Peace. He is also currently serving as the treasurer for the World Conference of Religion for Peace and has been involved with the Fes Festival in Morocco. In addition, Guerrand-Hermès is an honorary fellow of the University of Oxford and received a Master in Theological Studies degree from Harvard Divinity School.
