Tewodros Abebe was born and raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He pursued his undergraduate and graduate studies in the United States where he currently resides. This book contains many of his eloquently composed and highly admired poetic pieces. As a bilingual writer, his Amharic and English works, both in prose and poetry, have appeared in various national and international publications. Several of Tewodros Abebe's comments, for instance, have been published in the editorial pages of The Washington Post. Besides pursuing his interests in creative and analytical writings, Tewodros has participated in humanitarian activities aimed at improving lives in his native land. Some of the poems in Fetena are the poet's reflections on the trips he made to numerous rural regions in Ethiopia.
