Have you been thinking about getting a real estate license? Are you going to real estate school now? Have you recently passed your real estate exam where you live? One of the drawbacks of most real estate courses and schools is they don't teach you how to succeed as a Real Estate Agent once you get your license. This is the book for you because it will help you hit the ground running once you get your license. Mario Jannatpour is a Realtor with RE/MAX Alliance in Louisville, Colorado. Mario has been a successful Realtor since 2002. Reader Review: Are you new in real estate or a veteran? Do you know what buyers and sellers are looking for when they are looking at you? What qualities differenciate you from your competition? Mario has helped pin point what today's buyers and sellers are looking for in their real estate agent giving relavent information as well as insight on how you should handle different situations. We all know that honesty is the best policy yet the profession of representation is riddled with pot holes where one can stray. This book will help any new agent or seasoned agent gain a true north when dealing with clients. I sincerely recommend this book for anyone who is getting into the business and wants to get a firm handle of how to "be" great at your job. Addy Saeed, RE/MAX Active Realty (Toronto, Canada)

Why do so many Real Estate Agents fail in their first year? 75% of new Agents don't make it to their second year. Why? It's very simple. Poor training and mentoring. Real Estate Schools teach their students how to pass the state exam but they do not teach their students how to succeed in the real estate industry. This is very disappointing but it's the reality. If you're serious about your real estate career and you want an edge over your competition then this book will help you. I wish you the best in your career. Mario Jannatpour
When I started in Real Estate Practices and Principles four years ago I spent a lot of time looking up information online about becoming a real estate agent. I came across Mario's YouTube channel and I really liked it. I was drawn to the idea of an honest real estate agent and the straight-forward way in which Mario made the videos was easy to watch. I wasn't sure what it was going to be like to become a real estate agent, it seemed like a neat profession where I would get to interact with a lot of people while helping them with a major life milestone.
I didn't have any kind of business background and had a bit of a negative attitude toward business and making money. I thought that a lot of people did dishonest things in order to have high levels of success in business. I was really hoping that there would be some way to do this business in an honest way. I decided that I was going to be an honest real estate agent even if it meant taking a pay cut. Through watching Mario's material on YouTube and reading his book what I found is that there was really no need to think that way. In fact being an honest real estate agent is really the best way to be successful in this industry.
Honesty is very important if you are focused on the long term growth of your business. People really don't care about your logo, your web site, the clothes you are wearing, or what type of car you drive. All they really care about is whether they can trust you. So you really should focus on building relationships and keeping in touch.
If someone views you as dishonest they are not going to want to stay in touch with you and refer you more business. It is a good idea to constantly look for new people to do business with especially when you are new. Once someone works with you if they had a good experience they will call you again when they need you and will refer all of their friends and family to you. It's important to view every client this way and focus on what is best for them. I am about to start my fourth year of business and I am getting more business from referrals than ever!
