About the Author

Yolanda Brooks is the proud mother of three. She dedicated the early part of her life to raising her children. Yolanda has worked with high risk teenage girls for over 10 years. She is a mentor, youth counselor and para educator. Yolanda is the author of Journey to Freedom-Walking in Victory, Get Rid of Your Idols-Before They Destroy You. She has also co-authored the book The Tears I’ve Cried with Dr. Alisha Anderson. Yolanda is using her voice to speak for victims of child sexual abuse who can not speak for themselves. She seeks to bring the hope of deliverance and healing for those that have already endured this trauma. Yolanda uses every opportunity to educate others to prevent sexual abuse from happening to children.
