Synopsis

Catherine Pickren is a music specialist who is currently teaching music K-5 in Pierce County Public Schools, Georgia. Please Don't Shoot the Piano Player, a romance novel, is her second published book. Her first published romance/suspense novel is Jewels on Tiger Island. Her educational background includes a doctorate degree in educational leadership from Argosy University, a specialist degree in educational leadership from Argosy University, a master's degree in music education from Florida State University, a master's degree in piano performance and music composition from East Carolina University, and a bachelor's degree in piano and voice pedagogy from East Carolina University. She is also a National Board Certified Teacher in Music. She resides in both Fernandina Beach, Florida, and Folkston, Georgia, with her husband, Verne J. Pickren Jr.
