Rob Dallowe is the creator and author of the Sammy The Sheep Dog children's picture books. His inspiration to write them mainly comes from his fond childhood memories of classics such as the Thomas & Friends series and The Very Hungry Caterpillar. He currently lives in Spain along with his partner Gill, who brings their stories to life with her illustrations. They are both passionate advocates of animal welfare and, whenever possible, take in waifs and strays that constantly add to their household!
