Wendy Everett is Senior Lecturer in French and Film Studies at the University of Bath. Her research interests include autobiography, surrealism, and question of identity in European Cinema. Her recent publications include The Seeing Century: Film, Vision and Identity (Rodopi, 2000) and European Identity in Cinema (Intellect Books, 1996). Peter Wagstaff is Senior Lecturer, both in the Department of European Studies and Modern Languages at the University of Bath. He is the author of Memory and Desire: Retif de la Bretonne, Autobiography and Utopia (Rodopi, 1996) and Regionalism in the European Union (Intellect Books, 1999).
