About the Author

Born in 1885, Clement Pansaers was the major proponent of Dadaism in Belgium. He founded the magazine Resurrection, and with other figures of the day expounded on avant-garde principles. Pansaers was highly admired by James Joyce, Ezra Pound, Francis Picabia and Andre Breton. He moved to Paris in 1921, dying of Hodgkin's Disease in 1922.
