About the Author

Anita Wills is a writer, and Author of six books, Notes and Documents of Free Persons of Color, (plus revised edition), Pieces of the Quilt the Mosaic of An African American Family, Black Minqua the Life and Times of Henry Green, and A Nation of Flaws JustUs in the Homeland. She is a History Buff who spent over 30 years researching and Documenting her family History. She uncovered Revolutionary War Soldiers, Civil War Soldiers, Inventors, and others whose contributions were extraordinary. After sharing her findings with her family she decided to write her first book. She has spoken at UC Berkeley, UC San Jose, UC Sacramento and many other venues in California, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. In 2005 a presentation she gave at Central Rappahannock Library in Virginia was presented on C-spans Book TV. Writing is more than a hobby it is now a passion for this Author.
