No date indicated within; given date of 1900 is estimate, consistent with WorldCat search which presumes facsimile reprint of 1896 London edition. 356pp. B/W plates. VG+. Rubbing/light abrasion with surface loss at uper and lower spine end and hinges ends. Touches of loss at tips of lightly bumped corners. Central cloth and decorations clean, sharp and remarkably bright. Binding and hinges strong and square; pages clean and unmarked on slightly off-quality stock. 5/8" x 3/4" patch of rubbing/discoloration upper corner ffep as from former label. Very handsome item.
