About this Item

A nice, vintage trade catalog bound in brown paper wraps. Gilt and brown lettering and embossed details on the front cover, spine. 141 pages. A blank blue form is bound in at the back. With tables and black & white illustrations throughout. Good condition. The top right corner of the volume is bumped and creased. Chipping on the crown/foot of the spine with missing paper, as well as lines from reading. Edges of the wraps have small chips and tears. Light toning throughout from age. Binding is cracked between pages 62-63 and 140-141, exposing the glue and stitches beneath. Ex-library copy. There are Rwy. Eng. Dept. Catalog File stamps on the front cover and front free endpaper, with numbers written in pencil. 18 is written in ink on the front cover and pencil on the FFEP. No other marks or writing. Contents include: Uses for Exhaust Steam; Boiler Scale, Temperature, Strains, Corrosion; The Cochrane Patented Multiple Unit Heater Arrangement; Cochrane Separators; etc.
