First Edition, First Printing with the words "FIRST EDITION" printed on the copyright page. This copy is SIGNED by Walker Percy on a handwritten letter by the author laid into the book. This ORIGINAL First Issue dustjacket is vibrant in color with minor repair. The book is bound in the ORIGINAL publisher's red cloth spine with paper boards. The binding is tight with NO cocking or leaning and the boards are crisp. The pages are clean with NO marks or bookplates in the book.
