Originally produced in the early 19th Century by the Lambs (brother & sister), these prose versions of Shakepearian plays have appeared in many different editions over the years. This small, early 20th-Century edition has b&w portrait of Shakespeare as frontis. Padded decorative beige covers have a floral design, end papers have a little offsetting w/a date May 24th 1911 on the front free end paper; page tops are gilt. Overall a very good copy.
