Half-Leather. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Hardback. Important early reference on Aeronautics, with an emphasis on experiments and adventure, much on Ballooning. 1st Edition 1865. 530pp., 51 excellent vignettes, list of subscribers, corrigenda, index. Early handsome half leather brown binding with raised bands to spine. Some light foxing and a couple of slight points of wear to endpaper centrefolds. Overall as nice an example of this classic work as you could find. Sensibly priced. Very heavy.Ships from UK.
