Nearly every figure has a story to tell." Hence, I am very pleased to be able to offer a very nice copy of: "A Collector's Guide to Staffordshire Pottery Figures" by H.A.B. Turner. This small hard cover book (6 x 9 ¼ inches 294 pages) was published by Emerson Books of New York dated 1971 with no other dated 1971 and apparently the First Edition. The book is bound in black matte boards with gilt titles on the spine and protected by a colorful pictorial dust jacket. The book includes 100 photographs; 8 pages of which are in full color. Condition: This book is in very good condition. There is some minor edge wear to the dust jacket particularly at the spine tips and a small tear on the upper front edge. It is price-clipped and there is some fading to the colors along a bank parallel to the spine. The hard covers are clean and bright with some faint bumping to the corners. Inside the book is unmarked and the pages and plates are bright and clean throughout. Both hinges are intact, and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.
