The COMPLETE 12-volume series about Robert E. Howard's famous Conan heroic fantasy figure. These volumes likely contain all of Howard's complete Conan tales, plus his tale fragments expanded or completed by de Camp, Carter and Nyberg, plus entirely new volumes by de Camp and Carter (Buccaneer, Aquilonia and Isles contain no Howard content). All volumes offerred here are the FIRST PRINTINGS of the FIRST EDITION PAPERBACK ORIGINALS, the one exception being Conqueror (# 9, which had earlier printings by other publishers, nevertheless, this is the first Lancer printing). Several books are Canadian printings, which, as they were published simultainiously with the US printings, are true first editions / printings. All but Aquilionia were published by Lancer. Aquilionia came from Ace, there was no Lancer printing, after Lancer ceased publication, and is a true first edition The order of the volumes is shown above in "Title". This order is the chronical order of Conan himself as he ages, and is not in the order that these volumes were published. In fact, several of the volumes covers bear series numbers different from the above Title order. The order of the series was later determined by Lancer with consultations by Howard experts, and then duplicated and continued by Ace when Lancer folded. The condition of the 12 volumes ranges from VG to fine.
