Exterior is rich, though a bit sunned around the edges. Gilt is very modestly rubbed. Spine ends a touch crimped, but edges/tips are sharp. Inside has neat PO signature to bottom FEP. Sparkle blue EPs. Inside is unmarked , crisp, and tight. Very nice, though lacking the DJ.

The spine and corners are edgeworn with a shallow chip to the top of the spine, there is a previous owner's book plate on the front endpaper and the first few pages are lightly soiled. "The snapshots had become almost as dim as memories. This young woman who had stood in a garden at the turn of the century was like a ghost at cock-crow. His mother, Anthony Beavis recognized.
