Slight wear to covers and leather tips, leather spine with elegant gilt title design, bulky book of 1159pps, attractively decorated unused family record pages in rear. All edges gilt and still luminous but several early pages stained along fore-edge. Analysis complete in 27 books of the Old and New Testaments. Rare to locate copy as attractive, well bound and unmarked. Six engravings with tissue guards, occasional foxing, hand colored f/o map in rear, also with map of St Paul's journeys. Author was a teacher at the Union Theological Seminary. Heavy weight. Works well as a gift.
