Light scratches to the edge gilt, and some light scuffing and faint impressions in the leather around the spine, and board corners, otherwise a nice, clean and tight copy housed in a black cloth slipcase with a plain dust jacket and inserted in the slipcase (not sure if the wrapper was intrinsic to the book or added later, however it has kept the book in excellent condition). Light scuffing to slipcase corners and the paper label unevenly sunned.

Limited edition print of George Harrison's handwritten song lyric. Archival Giclée using K3 Lightfast inks on 100% Cotton Hahnemuhle Photo Rag paper. The print measures 32 x 40.5 cm and has the estate stamp of Harrison's signature in blind to the lower right margin and the limitation number in pencil to the lower left. In the original hand-waxed solid ash frame with a linen French-bound mount behind UV perspex. (measuring 56 x 67cm). In fine condition. Complete with the publisher signed certificate. Interspersed with photographs and including an important section of reproductions of his handwritten lyrics accompanied by an explanation of each song, the book is a window into Harrison's artistry and ideology. The book also caused some controversy at the time of its publication: John Lennon was displeased that he was not given more credit as a musical inspiration or collaborator, Harrison felt the charged could be equally levied at Lennon. This was one of a handful of copies bound in full leather - another was given to Harrison, while the publisher retained one. This copy has the addition of tears falling from the guitar, representing Harrison's song While My Guitar Gently Weeps, and the initials of Hilary Lester Gerard. Gerard was Ringo Starr's business manager from the early 1970s and a director of the Beatles Apple Corps Ltd. The publication of I Me Mine was a watershed moment in the history of the Beatles.
