Add to basketPetrograd: D.P. Ruzzskiy, 1918. Volume 1 [and all] 113, [2] p. 8 vo. Contemporary cardboard binding. No half-title. Small holes on the title page. The first edition of this publication written in second half of 1917. It's considered to be one of the most important Lenin's works on the matter. The book was written in the circumstances when his party started to change its status from political underdogs to the ruling party in the country. Many ideas of the Soviet state have roots in this publication. Lenin criticises the socialists who interpreted Engels' idea of the 'dying state' in a way that made revolution not necessary. All in all Lenin talks very much pro-state and the famous phrase 'the dictatorship of the proletariat' is used often in the book.
