Soft Cover. Condition: Fair. 1st. Scarce. A tale of Zozo the monkey and his adventures. Yellow card covers with red lettering to front. Covers are a little tatty with a section of loss to the rear. Bumping to corners, some subsequent curling. Damage to spine, some loss. Textblock has one or two grubby marks but is generally clean with just the odd spot of fox. 2 pages have closed tears. Lovely coloured pictorial endpapers as well. one page corner lightly creased (not affecting illustration). Some very light thumbing. Publishers pictorial coloured card wrappers clean and bright. Staples are rusty. The dustwrapper which is printed with the same images as the front and back cover has some very short tears to the edges. The top and bottom of the spine is slightly chipped and rubbed with some very small loss. One small chip to the top edge of rear panel. Some indentations on the front panel where someone has written on a piece of paper resting on the front cover (not that noticeable). Still a very good copy of this fragile dustwrapper. A beautifully illustrated children's book. Scarce first edition. Book.

Light foxing throughout, visible erased pencil name on the "This Belongs To" page and the odd finger mark to the margins throughout. Very good. First UK edition of the first Curious George children's book.
