Marbled boards, half leather, worn and rubbed. Although this book went through many editions, especially in the US, we can find no trace of this edition published in Edinburgh. A good reading copy.

Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. an engraved print taken from a book [not by me] showing Cromwell and his Roundheads on one side of the table and the Royalists on the other side. 27cm x 22cm. Some minor tears at edges and marks, slight foxing otherwise a good copy ready for mounting and framing.

Soft cover. Condition: As New. As new apparently unread copy in softcover. Published in 2000 by the National Library of Czech Republic to co-incide with an exhibition on the life of reformer John Hus. 130pp illustrated throughout.

The Livre d'Heures (Book of Hours) of Jean sans Peur (John the Fearless), Duke of Burgundy, is a richly illuminated manuscript that was created during the early 15th century, specifically between 1404 and 1419, for Jean sans Peur (John the Fearless), the Duke of Burgundy. As a Book of Hours, it is a devotional book intended for laypeople, containing prayers to be recited at the canonical hours of the day.

A broken run from Catalogue 22 to Catalogue 35 which was produced in 1976. The earlier catalogues are undated. Illustrated with mono plates.

No Binding. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. 100mm x 60mm. A mounted photograph of Victorian preacher, C.H. Spurgeon. It appears to be a carte de viste and seems to be in the same series as one of our other photographs taken by Elliott & Fry though there is no indication.

A very solid copy and well-bound, very minimal wear to binding. Map is slightly foxed. Generally a very good copy or better. Felix Neff was a Swiss Protestant divine and Evangelist working in the Alps.
