About this Item

Dedicated to John Quincy Adams. In two volumes. Very good plus books in original boards and spine. Dark green cloth covered boards, paper labels on spines. Boards are lightly soiled, cloth is rippling in several places. Spines are sunned. Front edge of spine on Vol II has a 1 1/2" closed tear at head of spine, and with an adjacent 1/4" horizontal closed tear into spine. Upper edge at head of spine on Vol I has a 3/8" closed vertical tear at each corner and along front and back spine edge. Head and tail edges are crimped, back corner at tail of Vol I is bumped. External side and lower page edges are untrimmed. Foxing through-out but very legible - see photo for example. Text blocks are sound.
