Book in fine condition; dj very good (frayed, several short tears, slightly soiled). 5 color plates, 16 line drawings, and 7pp of half-tones. Author knew little of Ethiopia until she joined the staff of British Council Representative Henry Littler who was working there. Her detailed observations mostly of visiting the rock churches of Lalibela, and she provides a general survey of Ethiopian Art. ; Illustrated; 10 x 7.5 inches; 200 pages. Seller Inventory # 10662
