74pp, illustrated with 10 full-page historical photographs, printed green and tan wraps, stapled at spine as issued, light to moderate general wear, very neat archival repairs noted at a few pages, including a small hole at front wrap, toning noted at some page margins. From the title page, "This is the true story of the notorious mountain feud between the Hatfields and the McCoys along the borders of Kentucky and West Virginia during the 80's and 90's. It is a compilation of data received from reliable sources and is not meant to be a reflection on either side." Includes The Story of Sid Hatfield and the Matewan Tragedy, which was unrelated to the feud. See Coleman's Bibliography of Kentucky History, #1674, for the original 1944 edition. Very scarce.
